Cheltenham Racecourse: the Round Table fireworks
The biggest show in town, run by Cheltenham Round Table for local good causes and set this year to music from fantasy and adventure films, with a funfair and street food.

Cheltenham Cricket Club: Fairview Fireworks Party
Two displays: a quieter one at 6pm for small children and the main show at 7pm, with food, a bar and live music.

A 12-minute, low-noise display at Dunkertons Cider, with a DJ, a live band afterwards and hot dogs from The Woozy Pig.

These three are on local event sites for 2026, but their organisers had not published the details when we checked again on 21 October 2026.
- Warden Hill Primary School PTA, Thursday 5 November: gates 5.30pm, fireworks 6.30pm, £7, under 2s free. The school says a fireworks night is planned this year; the times come from a local listing. One of the few displays on Bonfire Night itself.
- Leckhampton Scouts, Saturday 7 November, 207 Leckhampton Road, Leckhampton: a real bonfire, fireworks at 6.45pm and 7.45pm. The Scouts' own website listed no events on 21 October, so check their Facebook page before you go. It sold out early last year.
- Cheltenham Saracens FC, Sunday 8 November, Petersfield Park, St Peter's: free entry with donations welcome, gates 6pm, with a barbecue.
Where can I see quieter fireworks in Cheltenham?
At Dunkertons on Tuesday 3 November, and at the cricket club's 6pm display on Friday 6 November, which the club says "will still bang a bit". Leave dogs at home: the racecourse asks you to, Dunkertons does not allow pets, and the cricket club admits assistance dogs only.
Where to eat and drink after the fireworks
The racecourse and the cricket club ban outside food, so most people eat on site. On the way home, these three are the nearest.
