What is the Wishing Fish Clock?

The centrepiece of Regent Arcade since it opened in 1985, designed by the Stroud artist Kit Williams, author of Masquerade. At more than 45 feet tall, the arcade believes it is the tallest mechanical clock in the world. A goose seems to lay a never-ending stream of golden eggs, mice dodge a snake on top, and every half hour the large wooden fish at the bottom blows bubbles to the tune of I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles.

  • 🐟 Bubbles every half hour
  • 🕰️ Since 1985
